About the Vehicle:
The VCR/TH HOT was a French-designed anti-tank vehicle exported to Iraq during the 1980s. Combining the mobility of the Panhard VCR 4x4 with the lethal HOT (wire-guided) missile launcher, it allowed Iraqi forces to strike enemy tanks at extended range while maintaining speed and survivability. Deployed in both defensive and offensive roles, the VCR/TH gave Iraq’s mechanised divisions a modern anti-armour capability to counter more advanced Western armour.
