International Shipments

International orders take approximately 3-8 weeks to arrive.

Tracking is included to Europe, Australia, and most other countries.

International orders outside of North America vary in pricing based mainly on the weight and dimensions of the package. You will be charged an initial shipping fee at checkout but we may contact you if the size of the order is large and requires more in shipping.

The prices below are on average, to give you a rough idea:

International purchases may be subject to duties and taxes.
We will try to help when possible but this is the responsibility of the buyer. Orders over $40.00cdn will be required to be sent tracked.

How are Canadian Shipments sent?

Our shipments are sent using a hybrid system which combines Canada Post, 3rd Party Canada Post, and Couriers.

The goal is to provide you with the fastest and most economical shipping in every scenario possible.

We aim to meet the delivery times, while keeping the costs as low as possible.

Standard Shipping Service

Standard shipping is sent through Canada Post through a 3rd Party Shipping Company which provides discounted rates.

The tracking for these packages does not update until it reaches the destination province. In most cases it will take 5-12 business days for orders outside of Ontario / Quebec.

Orders within Ontario and Quebec are more likely to be sent via courier, and normally arrive within a week. 

Express Shipping Service

Depending on your address, we will always use the cheapest / fastest courier service. Our couriers include ICS,UPS, FedEx, Dicom, Canpar, Purolator.

Please note that PO Boxes do not qualify for couriers. These will have to be sent via Canada Post or 3rd Party, and the delivery times may not be met. If you require it to be express to a PO Box please let us know for an exact quote.

If you would not like a certain courier to be considered, please let us know and we can make a note on your account to exclude said courier. 

Local Delivery

Local Delivery is a option available to customers local to our shop. This option will automatically appear at checkout if your postal code is within our delivery radius.

Local Delivery is Free within Hamilton, and $7.00 in surrounding areas.

We aim to deliver packages within one week of purchase. The delivery date is random as we usually go to a different area once per week and rotate it. 

Deliveries are dropped off at your door without contact. You will receive a email notification once it has been delivered. We normally deliver after work hours, or early in the morning, so won't knock/ring so we don't disturb late. If it during the daytime, we will knock in case someone is home. 

For apartments, we will try to get inside, but if we can not contact you or no one lets you in then we will return the following week for one more attempt. If the second attempt also fails, then your order will be left for local pickup at our store front. 

SHIPITFREE DISCOUNT CODE

If you spend over $200 (Before taxes) , you can use the discount code SHIPITFREE to qualify for free standard shipping.

You may upgrade this from standard to express shipping for an additional $10.00 (Normally $20.00). Please send us an email to do so.

Canadian Territories

Canadian Territories will be charged the actual rates as it is very expensive to ship up north unfortunately.

The free shipping discount does not apply. Although we will cover out of pocket what we can on larger orders. 
Insurance
Our shipments do not come with Insurance. If you would like to purchase insurance please contact us. 

Insurance covers two things:
1. Shipments that were damaged externally severely. The package has to shown signs of damaged and mishandling.

2. Shipments that never indicate delivery according to the tracking. This means that if the tracking says it was delivered, it does not qualify. 

In some cases, some couriers come with basic insurance covering up to $100. 

If insurance was not purchased, and the package is lost, we will not able to refund you for the full amount. We will try to get the $100 insurance from the courier back, but this may take up to 4-8 weeks. 

We will also try to help offset the cost from our end as well as much as we can, but it will not be a 100% refund.

We will work with you the best we can to help when possible. 

Order Cancellations - Restocking Fee

Online cancelled orders are subject to a  restocking fee if they need to be refunded. This applies to any orders paid via Credit Card, Sezzle, Afterpay.

The reason for this is that we are unfortunately not refunded the transaction fees of these purchases. So when a $100 order is cancelled we lose $5.00.

This transaction fee is charged by the payment processor, not by us.

To help avoid this, we can offer a full credit on to the account instead or gift card.
Returned Packages
If a package is returned to us, there is a return shipping fee associated with it. This needs to be paid in order for us to receive the package back, otherwise it will be disposed of. 

Once we receive the package, we may resend it but the original shipping fee will have to be repaid again as well.

Returned packages can result from a number of reasons. We will do what we can to help if it was not your fault that it was returned. 
Tracking Says Package was Delivered, but I didn't receive anything?
If tracking shows the package has been delivered, but you did not receive anything, there are a number of reasons this may have happened.

1. Sometimes the courier will deliver it accidently to a neighboring unit or parcel locker. In these cases hopefully they will drop it off to you or you can reach out to see if they received it if close to them. 

2. Package was stolen off your porch.

3. If the tracking says it was delivered on the current day, sometimes it can be inaccurate and off. In these cases it is best to give it 24-48 hours as it will normally show up shortly after.

Unfortunately in this case, the options are limited. This is not something that insurance will cover. The best course of action is to contact the courier and they will launch an investigation. The other options are to ask your neighbors if your close with them if possible, or to simply give it an extra day or two. 
There was an issue with my order
Although we do our best to try to ensure that there are no issues, it is simply impossible to be perfect.

Returns

If you changed your mind and no longer want the product, we can accept returns 7 days after the order has been delivered to you.

The return shipping fee will be your responsibility. The original shipping fee is non-refundable.

Returned items must be sent back in the condition they were originally sent. 

Manufacturing Defect

In some cases, a product can have a manufacturing defect. This is the case when a package came shrink wrapped and was missing pieces inside for example.

Depending on what company the product is from, you will normally have to contact the manufacturer directly for a replacement.

In some cases, we will be provided with the replacement instead, in which case we can either ship it out to you (shipping extra) or provide you with a refund minus the original shipping costs.
Item Out of Stock
If an item is out of stock or missing, we will send you an email to notify you and ask if you would like to refund or substitute the product.

If we don't receive a response, we will either refund and ship your order or continue to wait.
