Warmachine: Dusk Fane of Nyrro – Strygon, Light Warbeast

Take to the skies with the Warmachine: Dusk Fane of Nyrro – Strygon, a vicious Light Warbeast designed to serve as an airborne predator within your Fane of Nyrro force.

The smallest of the Fane's warbeasts, Strygons are winged creatures whose muscular arms terminate in powerful wings capable of carrying them into battle. Bound to the will of their warlock, these beasts act as extensions of their master's commands and can be driven into brutal killing sprees.

This kit builds 1 Strygon Light Warbeast and includes every available weapon, head, and back option, allowing you to customize its loadout for your preferred battlefield role.

The Strygon

Strygons are the smallest warbeasts employed by the Fane of Nyrro, but their relatively modest size should not be mistaken for harmlessness.

These vicious airborne predators possess muscular wings in place of conventional arms, allowing them to soar above the battlefield in pursuit of their prey.

Their savage nature makes them well suited to the destructive ambitions of the Fane.

Instruments of the Warlock

Strygons operate with little autonomy.

Instead, they act as conduits for the will of their warlock, carrying out commands with the relentless aggression expected from a magically controlled predator.

Their minds can be conditioned and manipulated by the eldritch beings commanding them, driving the creatures into senseless killing sprees when the situation demands.

Airborne Predator

The Strygon's winged anatomy gives it a distinctive appearance among the Fane's warbeasts.

Its role as an airborne hunter makes the model an excellent visual addition to a Dusk collection, particularly alongside the larger and more imposing creatures available to the Fane of Nyrro.

Use Strygons to add:

  • Airborne creatures

  • Light Warbeasts

  • Fast-moving threats

  • Additional destructive power

  • Visually distinctive models

to your force.

Customize Your Loadout

The box includes all variant components available to the Strygon.

Choose from the included:

  • Weapon options

  • Head options

  • Back options

This allows you to customize the Warbeast's appearance and equipment around the loadout you want to field.

Consult the free rules in the Warmachine app when selecting your Strygon's configuration.

Field Multiple Strygons

The Strygon is a non-character Warbeast, meaning your force isn't limited to a single unique model.

Field multiple Strygons to create a larger group of airborne predators and further expand the Warbeast presence within your army.

This makes the kit useful both as a first Strygon and as an additional model for an established Fane of Nyrro collection.

Expand Your Fane of Nyrro Army

The Strygon fits naturally into a larger Dusk Fane of Nyrro force.

Use it alongside:

  • Warlocks

  • Larger Warbeasts

  • Fane units

  • Solos

  • Other Dusk models

Its smaller size and airborne design provide a visual contrast to heavier creatures while reinforcing the supernatural identity of the army.

Excellent Painting Project

The Strygon's combination of monstrous anatomy and customizable components provides plenty of opportunities for creative painting.

Experiment with:

  • Wing membranes

  • Musculature

  • Skin tones

  • Claws

  • Eldritch effects

  • Glowing details

  • Weapons

  • Arcane markings

  • Battle damage

  • Scenic basing

Multiple Strygons can be painted with a unified scheme or given subtle variations to distinguish each beast within the army.
