Warmachine: Cryx Necrofactorium Core Expansion (EN)

Expand the Nightmare Empire's necrotech legions with the Warmachine: Cryx Necrofactorium Core Expansion. Designed to provide a substantial force for mid-sized Warmachine games, this expansion brings together a Warcaster, Character Warjack, specialist Solos, and multiple units of undead shock troops.

At the head of the force stands Master Necrosurgeon Sepsira, a ruthless surgeon and battlefield commander whose supernatural precision is equally deadly in the operating chamber and on the battlefield. She is joined by Grendel, a monstrous Character Warjack designed to hunt its prey with brutal saw-blade claws.

The expansion also includes a Machine Wraith Dominator, Skarlock Lieutenant, two Mechanithrall Swarms, and Necrosurgeon Initiates, giving Cryx commanders a varied selection of characters and units for expanding a Necrofactorium army.

Master Necrosurgeon Sepsira

Master Necrosurgeon Sepsira leads the force as its Warcaster.

Pragmatic, ruthless, and largely removed from the political struggles of the Nightmare Empire, Sepsira is most at home when practicing surgery or engaging enemies in battle.

Her preternaturally steady blades bring the same uncompromising precision to both pursuits.

Sepsira provides a distinctive leader around whom to develop a larger Necrofactorium force.

Grendel

Grendel is a terrifying Character Warjack wrought from malice and black iron.

Built as a chthonic hunter, Grendel pursues its prey with horrifying determination, dragging victims underground and tearing through both flesh and earth with its saw-blade claws.

Its brutal appearance and unique identity make Grendel a natural centerpiece for the army.

Machine Wraith Dominator

The Machine Wraith Dominator is a machine spirit filled with tremendous rage and torment.

Its unnatural abilities allow it to overwhelm the cortex of a Warjack with a mere touch, making it a particularly sinister addition to the technological horrors of the Necrofactorium.

Included as a Solo, the Dominator provides another specialized model for your Cryx collection.

Skarlock Lieutenant

Skarlock Lieutenants are products of advanced necromantic arts.

While ordinary thralls may rely on relatively simple animating runes, the runes used to create a Skarlock provide:

• Awareness

• Intelligence

• Cunning

• Dark power

These qualities allow Skarlocks to operate as capable and fearless commanders within the Necrofactorium's undead forces.

And should one be destroyed, the Nightmare Empire can simply manufacture another.

Mechanithrall Swarms

The box contains 2 Mechanithrall Swarm units.

Mechanithralls form the primary unliving shock troops of the Necrofactorium.

Individually, they may lack the discipline and capability of living elite soldiers. In large groups, however, their combination of unnatural strength and overwhelming numbers makes them dangerous opponents.

Deploy both units to add a substantial mass of undead troops to your force.

Necrosurgeon Initiates

The Necrosurgeon Initiates represent the specialists responsible for creating and maintaining the Necrofactorium's unliving armies.

Experts in necro-industrial fabrication, these practitioners can transform the dead into new horrors composed of:

• Flesh

• Bone

• Cold iron

• Necromantic machinery

Their presence reinforces the distinctive combination of necromancy and industry that defines the Necrofactorium.

Build Your Necrofactorium Army

The Core Expansion provides a varied selection of models covering several battlefield roles.

The force includes:

• 1 Warcaster

• 1 Character Warjack

• 2 Solos

• 3 Units

This makes it a substantial addition for players expanding an existing Cryx collection or developing a larger Necrofactorium army.

Necromancy Meets Industry

The Necrofactorium combines the darkest elements of Cryx into a force built around undead flesh, arcane machinery, and industrialized necromancy.

Its armies bring together:

• Warjacks

• Mechanithralls

• Necrosurgeons

• Machine spirits

• Necromantic commanders

• Unliving constructs

The result is a distinctive army for players who enjoy the mechanical horror and undead themes of Cryx.

Excellent Painting Project

The expansion contains a varied selection of models and textures for hobbyists.

Experiment with:

• Corroded metal

• Black iron

• Undead flesh

• Bone

• Rust

• Verdigris

• Necromantic glow

• Oil and grime

• Arcane runes

• Battle damage

• Industrial basing

The combination of flesh and machinery provides plenty of opportunities for creating a grim, heavily weathered Cryx force.
