In the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game by Games Workshop, the Army of the Dead and the Riders of the Dead are factions representing the spectral warriors who answer to the call of Isildur's heir, Aragorn, in the War of the Ring.

The Army of the Dead, also known as the Dead Men of Dunharrow, are cursed spirits bound to fulfill an oath made to Isildur during the War of the Last Alliance. They dwell in the mountains of Dunharrow, cursed to remain until they fulfill their ancient vow to fight for Gondor in its time of need. Aragorn invokes this oath to summon them to fulfill their promise and aid in the Battle of Pelennor Fields.

The Riders of the Dead are the mounted warriors among the Army of the Dead. They ride spectral steeds and are depicted as fearsome cavalry units on the battlefield. Their appearance is a harbinger of doom for their enemies, as they charge through enemy ranks with spectral swords and lances.

In the game, both the Army of the Dead and the Riders of the Dead are typically portrayed as powerful but unique factions, with their own special rules and abilities. They are often used as allies by players fielding armies of the Free Peoples, providing a powerful and thematic addition to their forces in their struggle against the forces of darkness.
