THOUSAND SONS MAGNUS THE RED
Magnus the Red was once one of the most powerful and favored Primarchs of the Emperor of Mankind during the Great Crusade. He was the Primarch of the Thousand Sons Legion, a legion known for their psychic powers and pursuit of knowledge.
Fall to Chaos: Magnus's descent into Chaos began when he sought forbidden knowledge to save his Legion from a genetic flaw known as the Flesh Change, which caused rampant mutation among his warriors. In his quest for knowledge, he made a pact with the Chaos god Tzeentch, unknowingly damning his Legion to serve Chaos.
Heresy and Betrayal: During the Horus Heresy, Magnus was manipulated by Tzeentch into unwittingly aiding the traitor Warmaster Horus, despite his initial intentions to warn the Emperor of Horus's treachery. His actions led to the destruction of the Thousand Sons' homeworld of Prospero and the scattering of the Legion.
Current Status: After the Horus Heresy, Magnus became a daemon prince of Tzeentch, ascending to become one of the most powerful entities within the Warp. He resides within the Planet of the Sorcerers, a twisted realm within the Warp, from where he continues to manipulate events in the material universe to serve the schemes of Tzeentch.
Abilities: As a daemon prince and powerful psyker, Magnus possesses incredible psychic abilities, capable of reshaping reality to his will. He is a master of sorcery, able to wield devastating spells and curses against his enemies. His immense size and strength, combined with his psychic powers, make him a formidable opponent on the battlefield.
Legacy: Magnus the Red is a tragic figure whose fall from grace serves as a cautionary tale within the Warhammer 40,000 universe. His actions during the Horus Heresy led to the near-destruction of his Legion and the damnation of his soul to Chaos. Despite this, he remains a potent force within the galaxy, continuing to manipulate events from the shadows to further the goals of Tzeentch.

This multi-part plastic kit contains the components necessary to assemble Magnus the Red, Daemon Primarch of Tzeentch. An imposing winged model whose size is appropriate to his power, he comes with a selection of 3 different faces (cyclopean, open helm and closed helm), is clad in armour dating from before the dark days of the Horus Heresy and has an array of modelling options: accessories include magical tomes, scrolls and daggers. He’s armed with the frankly ostentatious Blade of Magnus, modelled as a choice of glaive or sword. Supplied with a Citadel 100mm Round based, and a crushed Space Wolf Dreadnought for a base detail!
