Take control of the battlefield with the Warcrow: Yaldabaoth – Harvesters, an elite elven cavalry unit designed to bring mobility, resilience, and psychological pressure to a Vástagos army.
Rather than relying solely on raw damage, the Harvesters excel at disrupting enemy formations and attacking their opponents' morale. Their ability to move effectively across varied terrain allows them to threaten vulnerable positions, apply pressure where it's needed most, and force opponents to react to their presence.
The Harvesters are also exceptionally difficult to remove. Their ability to use Taint instead of suffering Wounds means opponents may need to commit significant resources before causing meaningful damage, giving the unit valuable staying power during prolonged engagements.
Against enemies with weaker Willpower, the Harvesters become especially dangerous. They can impose penalized Willpower checks that weaken enemy morale and activate additional unit synergies. Their terrifying Soul Reapers ability can turn a failed Willpower check into a complete battlefield collapse, immediately forcing the affected unit to flee.
What Do They Bring to Your Army?
High Resilience
Harvesters can use Taint instead of Wounds, allowing them to absorb punishment and forcing opponents to dedicate additional attacks before inflicting lasting damage.
Willpower Pressure
Their abilities force enemy units to make Willpower checks with penalties, making them particularly effective against formations with poor morale while enabling additional Vástagos synergies.
Soul Reapers
When an enemy fails the appropriate Willpower check, Soul Reapers can immediately force that unit to flee, potentially removing an important threat without needing to defeat it through conventional combat.
Battlefield Mobility
As elite cavalry, the Harvesters can traverse difficult battlefield environments and rapidly reposition to pressure vulnerable enemy formations.
Tempo Control
By combining mobility, durability, and morale disruption, Harvesters help dictate the pace of the battle. Rather than simply trading attacks, they can break formations and force retreats that open opportunities for the rest of your army.
