Victrix Greek Hoplite Shield Designs 8

16 Greek Hoplite shield transfers to fit the Victrix limited range of ancient Greeks. These designs work differently to standard LBMS transfers — the shields are designed to look like metallic bronze. Paint the shield in a light gold such as Games Workshop Burnished Gold, apply the transfer, and the brown shading blends with the metallic colour underneath for a realistic bronze effect. For the rims, run a wash of brown ink or use the dip. Avoid matt varnish on the shield as it removes the metallic lustre — use satin instead. All transfers come un-cut.
