Vallejo Green Earth Pigment is part of a high-quality range of earth and iron oxide powders designed for realistic weathering and terrain work. Its natural green-brown tone is ideal for creating mossy soil, aged vegetation, earth staining, and subtle environmental shading on dioramas, bases, scenery, and military models.
Expertly micronized for smooth dispersion, this pigment blends effortlessly with water, acrylic mediums, or turpentine. Used dry, it produces natural sediment effects, dusty tints, and organic tonal variation. When fixed with Matte Medium, the pigment becomes a permanent part of the surface. Glaze Medium allows for extended blending time, making it perfect for soft transitions, run-offs, and environmental aging on armor panels, fortifications, and groundwork.
Green Earth also works exceptionally well when combined with Vallejo’s Water & Stone range. Transparent Water enables damp stains, algae-like patches, and wet-earth effects, while Sandy Paste adds heavy texture for built-up dirt, layered soil, or weathered ground surfaces. All pigments are non-toxic and supplied in 30 ml child-safe pots, with weight varying between 17–39 grams depending on pigment density.
