About the Vehicle:
Entering service in the late 1980s, the NM135 was Norway’s answer to the need for more heavily armed troop transports. Its 20mm cannon allowed it to suppress enemy infantry, engage light vehicles, and provide covering fire for dismounted troops. Retaining the amphibious capabilities of the M113, it was highly adaptable to Norway’s varied terrain.
