About the Vehicles:

The SU-122 entered service in 1942 as a self-propelled assault gun equipped with a powerful 122mm howitzer designed to support infantry and destroy fortified positions. Its heavy explosive firepower made it highly effective during offensive operations.

The SU-85 followed in 1943 as a dedicated tank destroyer armed with an 85mm anti-tank gun capable of engaging German armor such as the Panther and Tiger tanks. Both vehicles played major roles on the Eastern Front and demonstrated the Soviet Union’s growing expertise in armored warfare.

Why Choose the SU-85 / SU-122 SPG Kit?

  • Two Vehicle Options in One Kit: Flexible build choices for Soviet army projects.
  • Excellent Battlefield Support: Ideal for anti-tank and infantry support roles.
  • Detailed Hobby Project: Great for painters, weathering enthusiasts, and WWII collectors.
  • Perfect for Eastern Front Armies: A strong addition to Soviet mechanized and armored forces.
