MIDDLE-EARTH SBG: DOL GULDUR BATTLEHOST
Unleash the savage forces of Dol Guldur with this Battlehost for the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game. Led by Bolg, Spawn of Azog, this aggressive army combines fast-moving Fell Warg riders with a large contingent of brutal Hunter Orc infantry.
The box builds 32 multipart plastic miniatures, including both mounted and on-foot versions of Bolg, 6 Hunter Orcs riding Fell Wargs, and 24 Hunter Orcs on foot. Together, they provide an excellent foundation for starting a new Dol Guldur collection or adding substantial reinforcements to an existing army.

Bolg, Spawn of Azog
At the head of the Battlehost is Bolg, Spawn of Azog, a savage Orc commander known for his enormous strength and brutality.
The box provides two versions of Bolg:
- Bolg on Foot
- Bolg Mounted on a Fell Warg
This allows you to represent the character appropriately whether he's charging into battle on his monstrous mount or fighting among his warriors on foot.
Bolg can also be assembled with an optional bow strapped across his back, providing an additional customization choice.
Hunter Orcs on Fell Wargs
The Battlehost includes 6 Hunter Orcs mounted on Fell Wargs.
These fast and aggressive warriors can race ahead of the main force, closing the distance with enemy formations and applying pressure before the larger body of infantry arrives.
Use them to:
- Rush enemy positions
- Threaten exposed flanks
- Pursue vulnerable targets
- Contest objectives
- Support Bolg
- Rapidly reposition across the battlefield
Their speed provides an important mobile component to the army.
Hunter Orcs
The core of the force consists of 24 Hunter Orcs.
These brutal warriors advance on foot, using bows to attack enemies at range before closing in with their wicked curved blades.
Their numbers provide the Battlehost with a substantial infantry presence and give Bolg plenty of warriors to command as he carries out the will of Azog.

The Battlehost combines three important elements:
Commander
Bolg provides the army with a powerful and recognizable leader.
Mounted Warriors
Six Hunter Orcs on Fell Wargs give the force speed and aggressive battlefield mobility.
Infantry
Twenty-four Hunter Orcs form the main body of the army and provide both ranged and close-combat capability.
Together, they create a force designed to advance aggressively and overwhelm its enemies.
