Luke Cage
After being wrongly imprisoned, Luke Cage was subjected to an experimental treatment that transformed his body.
The procedure gave him extraordinary strength and nearly impenetrable skin.
Rather than allowing his experience to define him, Luke took his abilities to the streets and became a Hero for Hire, protecting people caught between powerful criminals and dangerous supervillains.
In Marvel Champions, his resilience becomes the foundation of a playstyle built around absorbing punishment and staying in the fight.
Unbreakable Skin
Luke Cage's most recognizable ability is his incredible durability.
This is represented through his unusual interaction with Tough status cards.
Unlike most heroes, Luke can stack any number of Tough status cards, allowing him to build layers of protection as the battle develops.
This makes him particularly effective in scenarios where the villain can deliver repeated or powerful attacks.
Leadership Aspect
The included pre-built deck focuses on the Leadership aspect.
Leadership decks emphasize allies and teamwork, making it a natural fit for Luke Cage and his history of fighting alongside other street-level heroes.
Use your allies to:
Luke's durability allows him to remain a powerful presence while his allies contribute throughout the scenario.
15 Signature Cards
The Hero Pack includes 15 Luke Cage signature cards.
These cards form the core of his identity and represent his powers, allies, equipment, and other elements associated with the character.
They establish the mechanics that make Luke play differently from other heroes in Marvel Champions.
40-Card Pre-Built Deck
You don't need to construct a deck before your first game.
The pack contains a complete 40-card Leadership deck that can be played immediately with the Marvel Champions Core Set.
