When the Legiones Astartes are tasked with storming heavily fortified, confined positions, a Siege Assault Battle Group is deployed. Built to advance relentlessly under withering fire, this force combines near-impenetrable Cataphractii Terminators, shield-bearing MKIII Breacher Squads, and the devastating power of a Leviathan Siege Dreadnought. Whether fighting in the name of the Emperor of Mankind or bringing ruin in service to Horus, this boxed set is an ideal foundation for a new Legiones Astartes army or a powerful expansion to an existing Horus Heresy collection.
This set is built around a core of Cataphractii Terminators, virtually impervious to small arms fire and armed with brutal close-range and melee weapons, alongside Breachers who excel as first-wave assault troops thanks to their heavy shields and specialist equipment. Supporting the infantry is a Leviathan Siege Dreadnought, a walking engine of destruction capable of tearing apart fortifications, enemy armour, and elite infantry with ease. This box is also the first opportunity to acquire the new MKIII Breacher Squad and updated Cataphractii Terminators miniatures.
The box contains 23 multipart plastic miniatures, including one Leviathan Siege Dreadnought, ten MKIII Breacher Squad miniatures, six Cataphractii Terminators armed with volkite chargers and power mauls, and six Cataphractii Terminators equipped with combi-bolters and power fists.
Customization is a major strength of this kit. The Leviathan Siege Dreadnought features a torso-mounted choice of heavy flamers or twin-linked volkite calivers, with an optional hull-mounted phosphex discharger. Each mechanical fist includes a built-in meltagun and can be assembled as either a crushing siege claw or a grinding siege drill, with individually poseable digits and optional armour plates for further visual variety.
The Breacher Squad offers multiple upgrade options, including an optional Breacher Sergeant with a helmeted or bare head and breacher charge. Additional parts allow one model to be equipped with a lascutter, one with a graviton gun, one with a nuncio-vox, and another with a vexilla, making the unit well suited to both narrative and competitive play.
Each Cataphractii Terminator unit can include an optional Sergeant armed with a power sword, power axe, or thunder hammer. Terminators feature a choice of two shoulder pad styles, matching tasset plates, optional tilting plates, and weapon upgrades including a heavy flamer, chainfist, or reaper autocannon, allowing for significant visual and tactical customization.
The set also includes extensive transfer support with three Legion Infantry Transfer Sheets, each containing 618 high-quality waterslide transfers, and one Legiones Astartes Dreadnought Transfer Sheet with 528 transfers. These cover Iron Warriors, Sons of Horus, Salamanders, and Imperial Fists iconography, along with numerals, honour markings, script, and command symbols.
In total, the kit comprises 745 plastic components, twelve Citadel 40mm Round Bases, ten Citadel 32mm Round Bases, and one Citadel 80mm Round Base. Miniatures are supplied unassembled and unpainted; Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints are recommended.
The Breacher Squad Upgrade Frame and Cataphractii Terminators will be released separately at a later date, while the Leviathan Siege Dreadnought is already available on its own. This Siege Assault Battle Group boxed set is a limited-run release and is only available while stocks last.
