Valayan Guardians – Warriors of the Hearth
The Valayan Guardians are among the most honoured warriors of the Khazalite Holds.
Dedicated to the goddess Valaya, these elite soldiers serve as protectors of their people's hearths, strongholds, and sacred traditions.
Their position within Khazalite society is one of great responsibility, and marching alongside them is considered a tremendous honour.
Clad in the finest armour and equipped with masterfully forged weapons, Valayan Guardians represent the strength and determination of the duardin.
Whether defending a karak or marching into battle, they stand ready to confront the most dangerous enemies of their people.
Devoted to Valaya
Valaya holds a sacred place within the pantheon of the Khazalite Holds.
As a goddess associated with the hearth and the protection of the duardin, she inspires warriors who dedicate themselves to defending their people.
The Valayan Guardians embody these ideals through their unwavering commitment to duty and their determination to protect their kin.
Their devotion is reflected in their formidable equipment and their role as elite defenders of the holds.
Gromril Armour – Exceptional Protection
Valayan Guardians wear thick gromril plate armour, providing formidable protection against enemy attacks.
This exceptional armour allows them to endure punishment that would overwhelm lesser warriors.
Combined with their discipline and combat expertise, their defensive equipment makes them particularly well suited to protecting important battlefield positions.
Their heavily armoured appearance also makes them impressive centrepieces within Khazalite infantry formations.
Runic Halberds – Strike Down Powerful Enemies
Each Valayan Guardian can be equipped with a two-handed runic halberd.
These powerful weapons are designed to confront heavily armoured opponents and dangerous monsters.
The halberd configuration emphasizes aggressive combat, allowing the Guardians to engage formidable enemy targets.
This option is ideal for players who want their Valayan Guardians to take a more offensive role in their Khazalite Holds army.
Runic Axes & Shields – Hold the Line
Alternatively, the Valayan Guardians can be armed with runic axes and heavy shields.
This configuration emphasizes their role as steadfast defenders.
Their shields provide protection while their rune-enhanced axes allow them to strike back against enemies attempting to break through their formation.
The axe-and-shield option is particularly suitable for holding vital positions and protecting other units.
