JOURNAL TACTICA: PROSPERO BURNS: JUDGEMENT OF VALDOR
Return to one of the defining tragedies of the Horus Heresy with Journal Tactica: Prospero Burns – The Judgement of Valdor. This 48-page softcover gaming supplement explores the role of the Legio Custodes during the Burning of Prospero while introducing new rules, units, a Historical Mission, and a complete Daemons of Tzeentch Army List.
Months before the betrayal at Isstvan, the Emperor's judgment fell upon the home world of the Thousand Sons. Magnus the Red and his Legion had continued their forbidden pursuit of psychic sorcery despite the Emperor's decree, prompting the deployment of a Censure Host drawn from the Space Wolves, Legio Custodes, and Silent Sisterhood.
What awaited them on Prospero would become far more than a battle between Legions. As Tizca burned, the Custodians found themselves confronting the horrifying daemonic forces unleashed by Magnus' sorcery.

The Censure Host was assembled to bring Magnus the Red and his Thousand Sons to judgment, bringing together:
- Legio Custodes
- Silent Sisterhood
- Space Wolves Legion
The resulting conflict would see Imperial forces battling the Thousand Sons across Prospero while increasingly unnatural forces emerged from the devastation.
The Judgement of Valdor explores the Custodians' involvement in these events and the forces they committed to the destruction of Prospero.
