About Italian Tanks & Semoventi:
Italy developed a variety of light and medium tanks during WWII, such as the M13/40, which was one of the most widely used tanks of the war. However, as the conflict progressed, Italian forces recognized the need for heavier firepower, leading to the introduction of Semoventi, or self-propelled guns, such as the Semovente 75/18. These vehicles provided much-needed anti-tank and artillery support in battles against Allied forces.
