About the Vehicles:
The Jagdpanzer 38(t) “Hetzer” was a low-profile, heavily armed tank destroyer that entered service in 1944. Its sloped armor and 7.5cm PaK 39 gun made it an effective ambush vehicle, well-suited for defensive warfare. The Marder series, developed earlier, mounted powerful anti-tank guns on captured or light tank chassis, providing much-needed firepower against Soviet armor, though with less protection due to their open tops. Together, these vehicles offered the German Army flexible, cost-effective anti-tank solutions during the late war.
