Green Stuff World Rolling Pin ROMAN New

Rolling Pin – Roman

Recreate the grandeur of the ancient world with the Roman textured rolling pin. Designed to press a continuous, repeating Roman pavement pattern into clay and modeling putties, this tool lets you produce detailed roads, plazas, and bases inspired by classical Roman architecture—complete with engraved motifs and inscriptions.

Product Info:
Made from clear PMMA plastic, this rolling pin features excellent non-stick properties, allowing smooth, controlled rolling without pulling or tearing your material. The Roman pattern includes decorative elements and writing alongside pavement textures, giving your terrain a distinctive historical character. Non-toxic and durable, it’s ideal for repeated hobby use.

Specifications:
Length: 14.5 cm (5.5 inches)
Diameter: 2.5 cm (1 inch)
Pattern: Roman pavement with inscriptions and decorative Roman designs

Key Features:

  • Continuous repeating Roman pavement texture

  • Includes engraved writing and classical Roman motifs

  • Clear PMMA plastic with outstanding non-stick performance

  • Non-toxic and safe for hobby applications

Use Instructions:
First, properly mix your putty or clay according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
Next, spread the material onto the surface to be textured, ensuring it is smooth and even before rolling. Using a plain rolling pin at this stage is strongly recommended.
Depending on the putty or clay used, lightly wet the textured rolling pin to prevent sticking.
Slowly roll across the surface with even pressure to achieve a consistent Roman pattern.
Finally, trim excess material with a sharp knife once the putty or clay has dried to avoid deformation.

Materials Compatibility:
This rolling pin works with most modeling putties and clays. Polymer clays such as Fimo or Sculpey are especially easy to use, allowing corrections before baking. For textured bases, polymer clay can be applied directly to MDF bases and baked together at around 150°C for approximately 15 minutes.
Epoxy putties can be applied directly to plastic bases and do not require baking.
For Green Stuff, lightly wet the pin or the putty, or reduce stickiness with talcum powder or sculpting vaseline. For epoxy putties like Milliput, avoid excessive water and instead knead thoroughly to reduce stickiness.

Care Instructions:
After use, clean the rolling pin thoroughly with water. If needed, use a scratch brush to remove any residue, especially after working with epoxy putties.

Safety:
Children should only use this tool under close adult supervision.
