Use Instructions
Mix the putty or clay according to the manufacturer’s instructions and roll it out to an even surface. For best results, smooth the material first using a plain rolling pin. Lightly wet the textured rolling pin if needed to prevent sticking, then roll slowly with even pressure to apply the texture. Trim excess material with a sharp knife once the putty or clay has dried to avoid deformation.
Compatible Materials
Suitable for most hobby putties and clays. Polymer clays such as Fimo or Sculpey are especially easy to use and allow corrections before baking. These can be applied directly to MDF bases and baked together at approximately 150°C for around 15 minutes. A light toasted smell from MDF is normal.
Epoxy putties can be applied directly to plastic bases without baking. Green Stuff benefits from light moisture or a release agent to reduce sticking, while firmer putties such as Milliput should be used with minimal water and thorough kneading. Cleaning after epoxy use is strongly recommended.
Care and Safety
Clean with water and a scratch brush after use to maintain detail. Intended for hobby use; children should be supervised by a responsible adult.
