Green Stuff World Rolling Pin – Ancestral Recall

Ancient stone. Arcane sigils. Civilizations that clearly had opinions about architecture. The Ancestral Recall rolling pin lets you press a continuous, repeating pattern into clay and putty without sculpting every line by hand.

Product Info

Green Stuff World Rolling Pin – Ancestral Recall is a textured roller designed to imprint a detailed repeating pattern onto modeling clay and epoxy putties. Made from clear PMMA plastic, it offers excellent non-stick performance and long-term durability.

Length: 14.5 cm
Diameter: 2.5 cm
Recommended Scales: 1/22 – 1/32 – 1/35 – 1/43 – 1/48

Non-toxic and reusable, it’s ideal for creating decorative bases, scenic tiles, and terrain with a carved or ancient aesthetic.

Application and Use

Properly mix your putty or prepare your clay according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Roll the material flat and smooth before applying texture. For best results, use a plain rolling pin first to create an even surface.

Lightly moisten the rolling pin when working with sticky materials such as Green Stuff to prevent adhesion. Apply even pressure while rolling to achieve a consistent, uninterrupted pattern.

Trim excess material after curing to avoid deformation.

Materials Compatibility

Works with polymer clays such as Fimo and Sculpey, which can be baked directly on MDF bases at approximately 150°C for around 15 minutes.

Compatible with epoxy putties including Green Stuff and Milliput. For sticky putties, lightly wet the roller or use talcum powder to reduce adhesion. Avoid excessive moisture with Milliput-style mixtures.

Clean thoroughly after use, especially when working with epoxy putties.

Care Instructions

Wash with water after use. A soft brush can help remove residue from textured grooves. Avoid wire brushes or metal tools to prevent damage.
