You are now thrown 500 years back in time and transported to Venice, where you step right into the role of a merchant.

Each player has three merchant ships that they will use to sail around with trade goods - while watching out for pirates (and storms)!

Incidentally, the game was voted game of the year in Austria in 2013.

The box contains cards, a cloth bag, wooden markers, 4 board pieces with trade routes and 3 with ports, 12 ships and 4 warehouses.

The game rules are in English, but you shouldn't worry about that. None of the components contain text, so it makes sense that one member of the group or family knows English, then he or she can learn the other rules and you can start playing!
