Flames of War Polish 14TP Tank Platoon

Add one of Poland's more unusual armored designs to your tabletop with the Flames of War Polish 14TP Tank Platoon. The 14TP was a Polish tank project developed in the years immediately before the Second World War, making it an interesting option for players exploring the armored forces and potential developments of Poland's 1939 military.

A 14TP Tank Platoon provides a distinctive armored element for your Polish Flames of War collection and pairs naturally with 7TP tanks, TKS tankettes, armored cars, infantry, and artillery.

The 14TP

The 14TP was developed as part of Poland's efforts to modernize its armored forces before the outbreak of the Second World War.

Unlike vehicles such as the 7TP and TKS that saw service during the September Campaign, the 14TP remained a developmental project rather than becoming a standard operational tank.

This makes it a particularly interesting addition for players who enjoy exploring the vehicles and military projects surrounding the Polish Army of 1939.

Expand Your Polish Armored Forces

The 14TP adds another vehicle type to a Polish armored collection.

Combine the platoon with:

• 7TP tanks

• TKS tankettes

• wz.34 Armoured Cars

• Polish infantry

• Anti-tank guns

• Artillery

• Other Polish support units

The variety of vehicles helps create a visually distinctive mechanized force on the tabletop.

Armored Battlefield Support

Use your 14TP Tank Platoon as a mobile armored element within a larger Polish force.

Tanks can provide valuable support when:

• Advancing toward objectives

• Supporting infantry

• Engaging enemy vehicles

• Reinforcing threatened positions

• Exploiting openings

• Counterattacking

• Adding mobile firepower

Pairing armor with infantry and artillery creates a more varied combined-arms army.

A Distinctive Polish Tank Project

The 14TP offers something different from the better-known Polish vehicles of the period.

Its developmental history makes it particularly appealing to:

• Polish army collectors

• Historical armor enthusiasts

• Flames of War players

• Alternate-history gamers

• Miniature painters

• Early World War II collectors

It can add an unusual centerpiece to a larger collection of Polish fighting vehicles.

Excellent Painting Project

The 14TP provides another opportunity to experiment with Polish vehicle colors and camouflage.

Try techniques for:

• Polish camouflage patterns

• Vehicle markings

• Tracks

• Metallic wear

• Chipping

• Mud

• Dust

• Oil streaks

• Exhaust staining

• Campaign weathering

Match the platoon to your existing Polish armor or use it as an opportunity to experiment with a different finish.
