Bang! – The Card Game

Bang! is a fast-paced, bluffing card game that recreates the chaos and tension of a classic spaghetti western shoot-out. Each player takes on the role of a gunslinger in the Old West, secretly working toward their own objective while trying to survive a table full of armed rivals.

At the start of the game, every player receives a Character card that determines their special ability and starting strength, which also acts as their hand limit. Players also receive a hidden Role card that defines their goal for the game. The only role revealed from the beginning is the Sheriff, immediately painting a target on their back.

There are four different roles, each with a unique victory condition. The Sheriff wins by eliminating all Outlaws and the Renegade. Deputies must protect the Sheriff and help eliminate the Outlaws. Outlaws aim to take down the Sheriff at all costs. The Renegade plays a dangerous solo game, trying to outlast everyone else and be the final player standing.

Gameplay revolves around a shared draw deck containing 22 different types of cards. The most common are Bang! cards, which allow players to shoot at others, provided the target is within range of their equipped weapon. Targets can respond with a Missed! card to dodge incoming fire. Other cards provide temporary advantages or powerful one-time effects, helping players recover health, improve their range, or disrupt opponents at key moments.

Equipment cards like guns, horses, and barrels change how players interact on the table. Horses help keep enemies at a distance, while stronger weapons such as the Winchester extend your firing range dramatically. The Gatling stands out as a deadly exception, ignoring range entirely and hitting every other player at the table in a single devastating attack, though it can only be used once.

All card information is presented using clear, language-independent symbols, making the game easy to learn and accessible for mixed-language groups. The box also includes seven summary and reference cards to help players quickly understand actions and effects during play.
