About the Vehicle:
The OT-130 replaced the hull machine gun of the T-26 with a flamethrower capable of projecting burning fuel up to 100 meters. It carried 40 charges of fuel and retained its 45mm main gun, making it a flexible, if dangerous, weapon for Soviet crews. While devastating in close-quarters combat, the OT-130’s thin armour made it highly vulnerable to anti-tank fire, requiring it to operate with infantry support. Despite its drawbacks, it demonstrated the Soviet emphasis on specialised vehicles for breaking enemy defenses.
