The pigmentâs ultra-fine processing allows it to blend effortlessly in water, acrylic mediums, or turpentine. It can be applied dry for quick dusting effects or fixed with Matte Medium for durable, long-lasting finishes. When paired with Glaze Medium, the pigment remains workable for longer periods, making it easy to simulate natural run-offs, layered dust deposits, and subtle tonal transitions around surface details.
For more advanced weathering, Vallejoâs Water & Stone range expands the pigmentâs versatility. Transparent Water helps achieve realistic oil stains or damp-looking patches, while Sandy Paste allows you to build up textured dirt, dried mud, and coarse earth effects.
