Team Yankee Pvrbv 551 or Lvrbv 701 Platoon (x3)
Swedish Anti-Tank or Anti-Air Support for Your Nordic Force
Historical Background:
To support its modern, mobile defense doctrine, Sweden developed a range of specialized vehicles based on the Pbv 302 chassis. Two of the most notable variants were the Pvrbv 551 and Lvrbv 701. The Pvrbv 551 mounted TOW anti-tank guided missiles, giving Swedish forces a powerful long-range weapon to defeat Soviet armour. The Lvrbv 701, on the other hand, was an anti-aircraft vehicle equipped with radar-guided twin machine guns to protect advancing troops from low-flying aircraft and helicopters. Both vehicles were designed to operate in Sweden’s forested, rugged terrain, complementing the mechanized infantry and S-tank formations with effective support fire.
