Tamiya TAM14084 KAWASAKI ZX 12R "NINJA" (1/12) New

The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-12R (another name: ZX-1200 A1) is a Japanese sports motorcycle that was first presented to the public in 2000. At the same time, its serial production started, which lasted until 2006 and was concentrated in the plants in the city of Kobe, Japan. The motor belongs to the Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle family.

The ZX-12R model was developed and put into production with the aim of strengthening Kawasaki's position in the sports motorcycle segment, as well as creating the fastest mass-produced vehicle in this segment in the world. The Ninja ZX-12R is powered by a powerful up to 179hp 4-cylinder 16-valve engine with limiters engaged, and a capacity of 1199cc. The motorcycle was also developed with the best aerodynamic properties in mind. We also tried to keep the weight of the motorcycle as low as possible, which was not entirely successful because the ready-to-ride Kawasaki Ninja ZX-12R, however, weighs nearly 250 kilograms. Nevertheless, in the period 2000-2006 it was the fastest mass-produced sports bike in the world, capable of exceeding the magical 300 km / h. Later, however, limiters were introduced reducing the speed to "only" 299 km / h. The company's offer was replaced by the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14.
