With the appearance of the Rifts, the efficacy of the Proletarian Hemotype serum has been greatly magnified. Building on this and stolen Axis research, Soviet Science has created an answer to the dreaded Shreckwulfen: the Ursus Infantry.

By bonding humanity to the formidable Siberian Brown Bear, these augmented, monstrous soldiers embody the Soviet Union’s bold embrace of the Rift. Deployed in small squads, the Ursus plunge into brutal close-quarters fighting, tear through enemy lines, and pose a severe physical and psychological challenge even to advanced Rift-enhanced units.

Some Ursus Squads also wield heavy mauls to amplify their already formidable strength and threaten even heavily armored targets with sheer brutality.
