This Model Air set provides the essential colors used in the MERDC (Mobility Equipment Research & Design Command) camouflage system developed by the United States Army in the 1970s. MERDC introduced a standardized approach to vehicle camouflage, offering adaptable patterns based on climate and operational environments.

This set includes all the tones required to recreate the Gray and Red Desert variants, allowing modelers to accurately finish U.S. military vehicles from the MERDC era with historically correct colors.
