The Indomitus Crusade is the imperial crusade led by the Lord Commander of the Imperium Robut Guilliman of Terra during the period known as the Noctis Aeterna at the beginning of the 42nd millennium. Its purpose was to defend and reconquer the regions of the Imperium threatened by the forces of Chaos and the threats of the xenos as well as the Necrons.

This set comes from a game box opposing two powerful armies, the mighty Space Marines to the race of immortal machines known as Necrons for the control of the Pariah Nexus.

The Necrons are a race of mechanical warriors, created from the Necrontyr. They lay dormant in their stasis tombs for sixty million years. However, they are finally beginning to awaken, seeking to re-establish the supremacy of the Necron dynasties over the galaxy.

In appearance, Necrons are skeletal parodies of living beings with swirling green energies emanating from their mechanical limbs and lifeless emerald eyes. All of their limbs have sophisticated self-repair systems in their exoskeletal system that can repair even the most disabling damage.
