MIDDLE-EARTH SBG: LAKE TOWN MILITIA

The Lake-town Militia are the defenders of Esgaroth, also known as Lake-town, in J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Hobbit." When Smaug the Dragon attacks the town, the militia is called upon to protect the town and its inhabitants.

In the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game by Games Workshop, the Lake-town Militia may be represented as a specialized unit or faction with unique abilities and characteristics. They are typically portrayed as courageous but relatively inexperienced fighters, drawn from the ranks of the town's citizens and armed with a variety of weapons ranging from simple bows and spears to axes and swords.
