The Corruption of the Signus Cluster
The Signus Cluster became the site of some of the most terrible events of the Horus Heresy.
On the irradiated world of Kol, the Legio Custodes were drawn into a conflict involving not only mortal Traitors but forces corrupted by powers far beyond the material realm.
The supplement explores the Custodians' role in these battles, the enemies they faced, and the fate of those who fell during the struggle.
The Legio Custodes on Kol
The Emperor's golden warriors take center stage throughout Assault on Kol.

The background provides additional narrative context for players building Custodes forces for the Age of Darkness.
Legendary Mission
The book contains a complete Legendary Mission allowing players to recreate a key battle from the conflict.
The scenario focuses on a claustrophobic Zone Mortalis confrontation between beleaguered Custodes and the forces of Slaanesh.
This makes it ideal for players looking for:
Daemons of Slaanesh Army List
One of the major additions in this supplement is a complete Daemons of Slaanesh Army List.
These rules allow players to field the daemonic servants of Slaanesh in games of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy, opening up new army-building and narrative possibilities for Age of Darkness battles.
Build a force around the unnatural entities that emerged during the corruption of the Signus Cluster or incorporate them into larger narrative campaigns.
New Legio Custodes Unit Profiles
The supplement includes additional rules for several Legio Custodes units.
Ephoroi Venatari-Proconsul
Add this specialized Custodian option to your Legio Custodes forces with a dedicated unit profile.
Hykanatoi Proconsul-Delegate
Expand the command and character options available to your Custodes army.
Gyrfalcon Jetbike Sodality
Bring additional high-speed Custodian warriors to your battlefield with rules for the Gyrfalcon Jetbike Sodality.
These profiles provide further options for players expanding a Legio Custodes army beyond the units found in the core faction material.
Slaanesh-Serving Solar Auxilia
The book also contains Exalted Section unit rules for representing Solar Auxilia forces that have fallen into the service of Slaanesh.
These rules provide another way to represent the corruption spreading through the Signus Cluster and create narrative Traitor forces that combine mortal soldiers with the influence of the Dark Prince.
In-Depth Lore
Beyond the new gaming rules, Assault on Kol expands the narrative surrounding the Signus campaign.
Explore:
-
The Legio Custodes' involvement
-
The world of Kol
-
