Edward Buck
Gunnery Sergeant Edward Buck is one of the UNSC's most experienced soldiers and a veteran of numerous battles against humanity's enemies.
Best known for leading an ODST squad during the Covenant occupation of New Mombasa, Buck combines combat experience, leadership, and the stubborn determination expected from an elite Helljumper.
Veronica Dare
Captain Veronica Dare serves with the secretive Office of Naval Intelligence.
Her intelligence expertise and involvement in sensitive military operations place her at the center of missions whose true objectives aren't always known to the soldiers assigned to complete them.
Her connection with Buck also makes the two characters a natural pairing for Halo collections inspired by Halo 3: ODST.
