Bandai revisits its legendary RX-78-2 Gundam in this upgraded Ver. 1.5 Master Grade release. Originally launched to set a new standard for adult modelers, this MG version refines the proportions to more closely match the Perfect Grade version and significantly improves joint strength and poseability.
This version features an all-new leg mechanism with a pre-assembled inner frame, offering enhanced stability and a cool mechanical look when armor panels are removed. Most of the kit is newly designed, except for the arms, offering a refreshing build experience for veterans and newcomers alike. It comes loaded with classic weapons like the beam rifle, bazooka, beam javelin, Gundam Hammer (with a plastic chain), and beam sabers. As with the original, a removable Core Fighter is included.
