Green Stuff World Rolling Pin Small Bricks New
Rolling Pin – Small Bricks
Add clean, realistic brickwork to bases, walls, and terrain with the Small Bricks textured rolling pin. Designed to press a continuous repeating pattern into clay and modeling putties, this tool gives you consistent masonry detail quickly, without the slow grind of sculpting individual bricks.
Product Info:
Made from clear PMMA plastic, this rolling pin offers excellent non-stick performance, allowing it to glide smoothly over clay and putty without tearing or lifting material. The brick pattern features subtle variation in brick size and layout, avoiding an artificial “stamp” look and delivering a more natural, hand-laid finish. The material is non-toxic, durable, and ideal for regular hobby use.

Use Instructions:
First, properly mix your putty or clay according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
Next, spread the material onto the surface to be textured, ensuring it is smooth and even before rolling. Using a plain rolling pin at this stage is strongly recommended.
Depending on the putty or clay, lightly wet the textured rolling pin to prevent sticking.
Slowly roll across the surface with even pressure to achieve a consistent brick pattern.
Finally, trim excess material with a sharp knife once the putty or clay has dried to avoid deformation.
Materials Compatibility:
This rolling pin works with most modeling putties and clays. Polymer clays such as Fimo or Sculpey are especially easy to use, allowing mistakes to be corrected before baking. For textured bases, polymer clay can be applied directly to MDF bases and baked together at around 150°C for approximately 15 minutes.
Epoxy putties can be applied directly to plastic bases and do not require baking.
For Green Stuff, lightly wet the pin or the putty to reduce sticking, or use talcum powder or sculpting vaseline. For epoxy putties like Milliput, avoid excessive water and instead knead thoroughly to reduce stickiness.
Care Instructions:
After use, clean the rolling pin thoroughly with water. For epoxy putties, a scratch brush may be used to remove residue and maintain crisp texture detail.
Safety:
Children should only use this tool under close adult supervision.
