Green Stuff World Rolling Pin Plain 25mm New

The unglamorous hero of sculpting. The Plain Rolling Pin does exactly what it should: flattens putty cleanly, evenly, and without introducing fingerprints, texture, or rage into the process. If you’re making cloth, cloaks, flags, or any surface that needs to be thin and smooth, this is the tool you actually want.

Product Info:
This plain rolling pin from Green Stuff World is made from clear PMMA plastic with excellent non-stick properties. It’s designed for flattening sculpting putties, polymer clays (Fimo, Sculpey), Green Stuff, and similar materials. Because it has no texture, it’s ideal for preparing perfectly even sheets before shaping or cutting.

The smooth surface helps prevent sticking and distortion, making it especially useful for hobbyists who want consistent thickness without tool marks.

What It’s Great For:

  • Flattening Green Stuff and epoxy putties

  • Working with polymer clays (Fimo, Sculpey)

  • Sculpting flags, cloaks, tabards, and cloth

  • Creating thin, even surfaces for conversions

Recommended Use (Green Stuff):
When flattening Green Stuff, lightly moisten both the putty and the rolling pin with water and apply a small amount of talcum powder. This prevents sticking and fingerprints, allowing you to achieve very thin, smooth results with minimal frustration.

Specifications:

  • Length: 14.5 cm (5.5 inches)

  • Diameter: 2.5 cm (1 inch)

  • Material: Clear PMMA plastic

  • Finish: Plain (no texture)

  • Non-toxic

Care Instructions:
After use, clean with plenty of water. If residue remains, use a scratch brush to gently remove it.

Safety:
Children should be supervised by a responsible adult when using this tool.

Why Use a Plain Rolling Pin?
Because texture comes later. First you need flat, even material—and doing that by hand is how fingerprints become permanent design features.
