LEGIONS IMPERIALIS ARAKNAE WEAPONS PLATFORM BATTERIES
During the Horus Heresy, the Legiones Astartes deployed Araknae-platform defensive arrays to secure landing zones, halt enemy advances, and dominate key sectors of the battlefield. Dropped into position by transport craft, these manned turrets provided versatile fire support wherever it was most needed. Whether fitted with quad accelerator cannons, Orias heavy frag missiles, or punisher-pattern rotary cannons, Araknae platforms brought overwhelming firepower to bear against infantry, armour, and aircraft alike.

This multipart plastic kit builds eight Araknae Weapons Platform Batteries for use in Legions Imperialis. Designed for battlefield control and area denial, each platform can be configured with a variety of weapon loadouts to match your tactical needs.
Up to four platforms may be equipped with quad accelerator autocannons for reliable all-purpose fire, up to two may mount Orias heavy frag missiles for clearing infantry formations, and up to four may take twin punisher cannons to threaten light armour, flyers, and densely packed troops.
The kit includes 116 plastic components and one Legion Vehicle Transfer Sheet featuring 1,130 waterslide decals for all 18 Legions.

About the Model
Each platform can be assembled with a chosen weapon option, allowing hobbyists to build a balanced defensive formation or specialise their batteries for a specific battlefield role. The included transfer sheet provides detailed Legion heraldry and markings for customisation. Models require assembly and painting. Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints are recommended.
