1. How old is Flesh and Blood?
Flesh and Blood TCG was released back in October 2019. Being released just before the COVID pandemic, the game saw a series of supply hurdles and scarcity which made prices on the secondary market skyrocket. As a result, accessibility to the game was limited to only collectors at the start. Since then, however, supply has steadily increased allowing for casual players to enter the game.

3. What is the difference between 1st Edition sets and Unlimited?
Flesh and Blood 1st edition sets are more geared towards collectors, while the unlimited sets are geared towards casual everyday players. The first edition sets only have a single print run leading to lower supply and higher prices. The unlimited sets are the exact same cards game-wise as the 1st edition sets, minus the 1st edition stamp. This approach allows both collectors and players to enjoy the TCG as they see fit for themselves.

4. Is Flesh and Blood a fad?
As with all new TCG's, there is always the risk of failure. Flesh and Blood however have received much praise, especially from experience Magic the Gathering players, and many believe it is here to stay. The initial launch of the game was a bit rocky due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but since then has recovered positively. The Calling in Las Vegas was one of the first true tests for Flesh and Blood and it succeeded. Critics were unsure if the events would be packed or empty, but the player base showed up to show their support and show that Flesh and Blood was a true force to be reckoned with and here to stay!

The best way to get started with Flesh and Blood is to purchase pre-made decks called Blitz decks. These retail for roughly $10.00 and provide you with everything you require to test the game out and get started. In addition, players can check the events page on the Flesh and Blood website to find local events near them, some of which include Introduction events for beginners for the Flesh and Blood game.
