About the Vehicle:
The 40M Nimrod was a Hungarian-built self-propelled anti-aircraft gun based on the Swedish Landsverk L-62 design. Armed with a 40mm Bofors autocannon, it was highly effective against low-flying aircraft and could also be employed against light armored vehicles and infantry formations. Deployed from 1941 onward, the Nimrod served both on the Eastern Front and in Hungary’s homeland defense, proving to be a versatile asset in a variety of battlefield roles.
