Flames of War German Elefant Tank-Hunter Platoon (x2 Resin & Metal Kit)
The Elefant was a heavily armoured German tank-hunter, developed as an improved version of the Ferdinand that first saw action at the Battle of Kursk. With 200mm of frontal armour, 80mm on the sides and rear, and 30mm on top, it was nearly impervious to conventional anti-tank guns. The Elefant corrected key shortcomings of the Ferdinand by adding a commander’s cupola for better visibility and a hull-mounted machine gun to defend against infantry, making it one of the most formidable tank destroyers of the war.
