Flames of War American M15 & M16 AAA Platoon (x4 Plastic) New

The M15 and M16 are both variants of anti-aircraft artillery used by the United States military during World War II.

M15 Multiple Gun Motor Carriage (M15 CGMC):

The M15 CGMC was a self-propelled anti-aircraft gun developed during World War II. It was based on the M3 Half-track chassis and armed with quadruple .50 caliber M2 Browning machine guns mounted on a Maxson M45 quad mount.

The M15 was primarily used for air defense, particularly against low-flying aircraft such as enemy strafing runs or ground-attack aircraft. It provided mobile anti-aircraft protection for ground troops and installations.

The M15 saw service in various theaters of World War II, including North Africa, Europe, and the Pacific.

M16 Multiple Gun Motor Carriage (M16 MGMC):

The M16 MGMC was another self-propelled anti-aircraft gun used by the United States during World War II. It was also based on the M3 Half-track chassis and armed with quadruple .50 caliber M2 Browning machine guns.

Like the M15, the M16 was designed to provide mobile anti-aircraft defense against enemy aircraft. It featured a powered turret for the quad-mount machine guns, allowing for greater flexibility in targeting aerial threats.

The M16 was widely used by U.S. forces during World War II and saw action in various theaters of the conflict.

Both the M15 and M16 were important assets for U.S. forces during World War II, providing vital anti-aircraft protection for ground troops and installations against enemy air attacks.
