about the vehicle
The Ford GPA was an amphibious version of the famous Jeep developed during World War II. Nicknamed the “Seep,” the vehicle could operate on both land and water, allowing troops to conduct reconnaissance missions and navigate rivers or flooded terrain.
Many GPAs were supplied to the Soviet Union through Lend-Lease programs, where they saw service with Red Army forces during later stages of the war.
