Bolt Action Soviet ZIS-30 Tank Destroyer
The ZIS-30 was one of the Soviet Unionâs earliest attempts at creating a mobile tank destroyer during the desperate days of 1941. Built by mounting the powerful 57mm ZIS-2 anti-tank gun on the small T-20 Komsomolets artillery tractor, this improvised vehicle gave Soviet forces much-needed mobility against advancing German armor. Although lightly armored and vulnerable to return fire, the ZIS-30 packed a formidable punch capable of knocking out early Panzer III and Panzer IV tanks. Its limited production makes it a rare but iconic addition to Soviet forces in World War II.
