Bolt Action - Dice

Order Dice are special six-sided dice used to issue orders to units during a game of Bolt Action.

The faces represent orders such as Fire, Advance, Run, Ambush, Rally, and Down.

Bolt Action uses Order Dice as part of its randomized activation system. Each side places its dice into a bag, and dice are drawn to determine which player activates a unit next.

This creates uncertainty and forces players to adapt their plans throughout the turn.

You generally need one Order Die for each unit in your army that requires activation.

The exact number therefore depends on the size and composition of your force.

This collection may include standard Order Dice, faction-themed dice, dice sets, dice bags, and other official Bolt Action gaming accessories.

Availability varies depending on current inventory and Warlord Games releases.

Yes. Players typically use clearly distinguishable Order Dice so that dice drawn from the activation bag can immediately be identified as belonging to one army or the other.

Faction-themed or differently coloured sets make this particularly easy.

Faction-themed dice primarily provide a visual way to personalize your army while still performing the same core gameplay function as standard Order Dice.

They are popular with players who want their gaming accessories to match their chosen force.

A dice bag or another opaque container is needed to randomly draw Order Dice during gameplay.

Dedicated Bolt Action dice bags are a convenient and thematic option for storing and drawing your dice.
