Green Stuff World Rolling Pin Herringbone New

The Rolling Pin Flagstone Herringbone – Roman Pavement is a textured rolling pin designed to press a continuous, repeating herringbone stone pattern into clay and modeling putties. Inspired by classic Roman road and courtyard paving, it’s ideal for historical bases, ruins, streets, and scenic terrain.

Made from clear PMMA plastic, it delivers excellent non-stick performance, smooth rolling, and consistent depth across the pattern. The material is non-toxic, durable, and easy to clean. Multiple textures are available to suit different project styles.

Length: 14.5 cm (5.5 inches)
Diameter: 2.5 cm (1 inch)
Stone Size: 6 × 2.5 mm

Use Instructions

Mix the putty or clay according to the manufacturer’s instructions and roll it out to an even surface. For best results, smooth the material first with a plain rolling pin. Lightly wet the textured rolling pin if needed, then roll slowly with even pressure. Trim excess material once cured or dried to avoid deformation.

Compatible Materials

Suitable for most hobby clays and putties. Polymer clays such as Fimo or Sculpey allow easy correction before baking and can be applied directly to MDF bases, baked at approximately 150°C for around 15 minutes. A mild toasted scent from MDF is normal.

Epoxy putties can be applied directly to plastic bases without baking. Green Stuff benefits from light moisture or a release agent to reduce sticking. Firmer putties such as Milliput should be used with minimal water and thorough kneading. Clean the rolling pin promptly after epoxy use.

Care and Safety

Clean with water and a scratch brush after use to preserve detail. Intended for hobby use; children should be supervised.
