Bandai Star Wars 1/72 Y-Wing Starfighter
About the Vehicle:
The BTL-A4 Y-Wing Starfighter is a versatile, heavily armored bomber and assault fighter, known for its durability and firepower in the Star Wars universe. Serving with both the Galactic Republic and later the Rebel Alliance, the Y-Wing is used in a variety of roles, including bombing runs, assault missions, and as a fighter escort. While slower than the agile X-Wing, the Y-Wing’s advanced shielding, heavy ion cannons, and proton torpedo launchers make it an essential part of the Rebel fleet, especially in large-scale space battles like the Battle of Yavin and the Battle of Endor. Its distinctive stripped-down, skeletal appearance with exposed engine nacelles makes it instantly recognizable in the Star Wars universe.
