MIDDLE-EARTH SBG: FARAMIR FOOT AND MOUNTED

Faramir is a prominent character in J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy and a key figure in the struggle against the dark forces of Sauron. He is the younger brother of Boromir and the son of Denethor II, the Steward of Gondor.

Faramir is introduced in the second book of the trilogy, "The Two Towers," and plays a significant role throughout the story. He commands the Rangers of Ithilien, a group of skilled warriors who patrol the borders of Gondor and harass the enemy forces from the east, particularly those from Mordor.

Faramir is depicted as a noble and wise leader, possessing qualities of courage, integrity, and compassion. Unlike his brother Boromir, who initially sought to take the One Ring for the defense of Gondor, Faramir demonstrates a deeper understanding of the corrupting influence of the Ring and ultimately allows Frodo and Sam to continue their quest to destroy it.

In the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game by Games Workshop, Faramir is often featured as a heroic leader and warrior, representing his role as a key figure in the defense of Gondor. He may be depicted in various forms, such as Captain of Gondor, leading his soldiers into battle, or as the more renowned Ranger of Ithilien, skilled in stealth and guerrilla tactics.

Players can include Faramir in their armies to recreate key battles and moments from Tolkien's legendarium or to craft their own narratives within the rich tapestry of Middle-earth.

This set contains 2 metal models in 7 components: Faramir on foot, and Faramir mounted on an armoured horse. Supplied with a 40mm round base for the mounted model, and a 25mm round base for the model on foot.
