CUSTODES: VENATARI SODALITY
Strike from above with the Venatari Sodality, elite airborne Custodians entrusted with watching over the rooftops and spires of the Imperial Palace and descending upon enemies with devastating speed.
This multipart plastic kit builds 6 Venatari for Legio Custodes armies in Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. For Warhammer 40,000, the miniatures can be built as either a Venatari Sodality with Kinetic Destroyers or a Venatari Sodality with Verutum Lances for Adeptus Custodes armies.
Carried into battle by advanced Custodian jump harnesses, the Venatari excel at rapidly crossing the battlefield, isolating priority targets, and striking before their enemies can effectively respond.

Custodian Venatari
Service among the Venatari is considered a significant honor within the Legio Custodes.
The role is reserved for Custodians who have proven themselves through the Blood Games, demonstrating the awareness, speed, and combat skill necessary for their specialized duties.
Within the Imperial Palace, Venatari patrol the:
During larger Custodian assaults, they perform similar duties from above, identifying potential threats before descending to eliminate them.
Strike From the Skies
Venatari use advanced Custodian jump harnesses to soar above the battlefield.
Their exceptional mobility allows them to rapidly approach targets that might otherwise remain protected from slower ground forces.
Use them to:
Their speed makes them a valuable complement to the heavily armored warriors that form the core of many Custodes armies.
Kinetic Destroyers & Tarsus Bucklers
Each Venatari can be equipped with a Kinetic Destroyer and Tarsus Buckler.
This configuration combines advanced ranged weaponry with the distinctive protective bucklers carried by these airborne warriors.
For Warhammer 40,000, the entire unit can be built as a Venatari Sodality with Kinetic Destroyers.
The kit includes 6 Tarsus Bucklers across 3 different designs, providing visual variety throughout the unit.
Verutum Lances
Alternatively, the Venatari can carry Verutum Lances.
These long weapons give the miniatures a dramatically different appearance and emphasize their ability to swoop directly into close combat.
For Warhammer 40,000, the squad can be built as a Venatari Sodality with Verutum Lances.
Neutronium Cascade Mines
Each Venatari can carry an optional Neutronium Cascade Mine, a devastating device designed to destroy vehicles at the molecular level.
Two Venatari can be assembled carrying these weapons directly in their hands, creating distinctive poses within the unit.
The remaining mines can be represented as equipment carried by the warriors.
Custodian Jump Harnesses
The kit includes 8 Custodian jump harnesses across 3 different designs.
These advanced devices keep the Venatari aloft and provide the unit with its distinctive airborne silhouette.
Mix the designs throughout the squad to give individual models additional character.
Extensive Customization
The Venatari kit includes a large selection of interchangeable parts.
