CUSTODES: AQUILON TERMINATOR SODALITY
Deploy some of the most heavily armored warriors of the Emperor with the Aquilon Terminator Sodality. Developed beyond the Cataphractii Terminator armor pattern and specifically engineered around the enhanced physiques of the Custodes, Aquilon armor combines exceptional protection with advanced integrated power systems and devastating weaponry.
This multipart plastic kit builds 6 Aquilon Terminators for Legio Custodes armies in Warhammer: The Horus Heresy and Adeptus Custodes armies in Warhammer 40,000.
Each warrior can be equipped with a selection of powerful ranged and melee weapons, allowing you to customize the entire Sodality for close-quarters combat, heavy firepower, or a combination of both.

Aquilon Terminator Armor
Aquilon Terminator armor advances upon the already formidable Cataphractii pattern.
Rather than simply adapting existing Terminator plate for the Custodes, Aquilon armor is designed around their enhanced physiology and incorporates additional power systems and capacitors.
The result is an exceptionally resilient suit capable of supporting the advanced weapons carried by the Emperor's elite warriors.
The Emperor's Finest
Aquilon Terminator Sodalities are not deployed casually.
Their exceptional armor and weaponry are reserved for situations where overwhelming force and resilience are required.
They are particularly suited to:
-
Close-quarters engagements
-
Zone Mortalis battles
-
Boarding actions
-
Confined battlefields
-
Assaulting fortified positions
-
Holding critical objectives
-
Engaging elite enemy units
-
Delivering mobile heavy firepower
Their ability to withstand punishment allows them to continue advancing where lesser warriors might be overwhelmed.
Standard Weapon Configuration
Each Aquilon Terminator can be equipped with:
This combination provides powerful ranged firepower alongside devastating close-combat capability.
Infernus Firepikes
The Infernus Firepike gives the Aquilon Terminators a fearsome weapon for close-range engagements.
Its inclusion fits naturally with the unit's role in confined environments, where enemies may have little opportunity to avoid the Custodes once the Sodality begins its advance.
Adrathic Combi-Destructors
Every miniature can replace its Infernus Firepike with an Adrathic Combi-destructor.
This advanced weapon option provides a visually distinctive alternative and allows the entire squad to be configured around specialized Custodes firepower.
Lastrum Storm Bolters
The kit also includes enough Lastrum Storm Bolters to equip every Aquilon Terminator.
This provides a third ranged weapon configuration for the unit and gives players extensive freedom when deciding how to arm their Sodality.
Solarite Power Gauntlets
Aquilon Terminators can carry massive Solarite Power Gauntlets for crushing enemies in close combat.
The armored fists complement the sheer bulk of the Aquilon suits and reinforce the unit's ability to engage powerful opponents directly.
Solarite Power Talons
Every miniature can alternatively replace its Power Gauntlet with Solarite Power Talons.
This provides another complete melee weapon configuration and gives the models a dramatically different appearance.
Misericordias
Each warrior also carries a Misericordia, the distinctive blade associated with the Adeptus Custodes.
These weapons add another recognizable Custodian detail to the already ornate Terminator armor.
Highly Customizable
The kit provides multiple interchangeable cosmetic components for giving each Terminator an individual appearance.
Included options feature:
Combine these pieces with the different weapon configurations to create a varied six-model Sodality.
Warhammer 40,000 & Horus Heresy
The Aquilon Terminators can be used across two Warhammer game systems.
Warhammer 40,000
Field them alongside your Adeptus Custodes as heavily armored elite warriors.
Warhammer: The Horus Heresy
Deploy the Sodality with the Legio Custodes during the wars of the Age of Darkness.
This makes the kit particularly useful for collectors maintaining Custodes forces across both settings.
Excellent Painting Project
Aquilon Terminator armor provides large surfaces for metallic techniques while retaining the ornate details associated with the Custodes.
Experiment with:
The larger 50mm bases also provide plenty of room for additional scenic details.
